TheRadioTop FAQ’s 1) What does TheRadioTop cost? The Radio Top site is always free to use. You do not need to subscribe to our free newsletter or log-in to our site or anything else to listen to stations.2) Why can’t I get any stations to work? You need to have a free copy of Real and/or Windows Media Player installed to listen to stations. These are usually pre-installed on newer computers.3) Why does a specific station not work sometimes? We make sure stations are working when we add them to our list and check them on a regular basis to see if they are still working. Some stations can only support a certain amount of listeners at one time. Sometimes stations change their web broadcast address and some go out of business.If a station will not play from our site you can go to the station's own website and try clicking on the audio link at their site. 4) Poor sound quality/reception The sound quality/reception of stations depends on the speed of your Internet connection and the quality of the signal from the station. If you have a slow connection (dial-up) then look for stations with low bandwidth (32k stereo or lower). If you have a fast connection (broadband) look for high bandwidth stations (56K +).5) Can you play/promote my Music? TheRadioTop is a directory of radio stations that web cast on the Internet. We have no affiliation with these stations. So it would be best to use TheRadioTOp to find stations that may be interested in your music, click on their name to go to their web site and email them directly.6) Can you play my song request? What was that song? Click on the station name in our listings of the station you are listening to and email the station directly with your request. Station web sites often show a list of songs that have played and that are coming up.7) How do I start my own Radio Station?
